Words have different meanings for everyone, they can be interpreted differently, felt differently, taken to a different context, and lose traction. I sit here to write why I create music, but my fingers have a hard time writing it down even if I know where my heart lies. It boils down to actions of a person. I’m here today with you because I believe in the actions -not just ideas- of individuals to make a difference in the communities they live in. My actions speak for my values and mission in life, and that’s the most important thing to me.

Music-making then is an act to be my natural self and share that with you even if our tastes in aesthetics are different. I’m not trying to reach everyone, one person is enough. I believe in questioning the status quo and doing things differently to stay true to my inner-self even if that means going against mainstream stylistic conventions and dominant social structures.

“Conversations in Chaos” is a live performance, recently formed by six musicians who take the challenge of connecting through their differences, find the middle ground of aesthetics with musical conversations founded upon ethics of tolerance. We invite you to be part of our conversation amid all the chaos that is going on in the world. We believe that the conversation is richer and more resilient with your participation.
