Agnes’ Terms

This piece was probably one of the most challenging compositions I ever wrote. I have never created a score with this much dissosance in a relatively short form. I remember struggling with liking it, yet I pushed on and we performed the piece. I decided to forget about it for a year.

After listening to it again after a period of time I fell in love with it. I think the lesson here is ‘less thinking, more doing’. You can get in touch with me if you’d like the score.

This performance was recorded on April 23, 2019 in New England Conservatory, Boston.
